How it works
- Click Generate — a random Steam title from our curated list is picked.
- Filter by genre, price band, or "in your library if you can paste it."
- See title, current price (via Steam community API), and brief blurb.
Why use this tool
- Steam has 80,000+ games. Discovery is broken; the picker cuts through.
- Curated to genuinely-worth-it titles, not asset-flips.
- Mix of popular and underwatched — surfaces gems beyond the front page.
When to use it
- Backlog tackler — paste your Steam library, picker picks what to play next.
- Indie discovery — filter to indie, find your next obsession.
- Sale-day decisions — what to actually buy from the 200+ items in your wishlist.
- Friday night "what shall I play?" — pre-commit to the pick.
FAQ
Are these all on Steam?
Every game in the list is available on Steam at time of writing. Availability can change — check before buying.
Can I bias the picks to my library?
Not yet — this version is curated. Customisable Steam-library import is on the roadmap.
Can it see my Steam library?
No direct integration — paste in your library export (via Steam profile) and the picker uses your list. Privacy-friendly approach.
