How it works
- Pick a random non-alcoholic cocktail from a curated list of 40+ genuinely good mocktails.
- Filter by base (Seedlip / Lyre's, fruit-led, herbal, coffee-based).
- See the full recipe including measurements and garnish suggestions.
Why use this tool
- Most mocktail lists are weak — sugar-bomb juice mixes pretending to be cocktails. Our curation is strict.
- Includes the strong non-alcoholic spirit options (Lyre's, Seedlip, Three Spirit) for genuine cocktail-ritual without alcohol.
- Useful for designated drivers, pregnancy, dry months (Dry January, Sober October), or just lower-alcohol nights.
When to use it
- Designated-driver night — same cocktail ritual without alcohol.
- Dry January — replace the evening drink with a designed alternative, not just water.
- Pregnancy and post-partum — properly satisfying drinks beyond "lime and soda."
- Mixed-group hosting — half the table drinks alcohol, half don't, everyone gets a thoughtful drink.
FAQ
Are these all sweet?
No — a few use shrubs / verjus / espresso to keep the bitter / savoury balance.
Are these as satisfying as a real cocktail?
Some yes (Seedlip-based G&T-likes are genuinely close), some no (you can't fake the warmth of a whisky-based Old Fashioned without alcohol). The list flags which is which.
Do I need Seedlip / Lyre's to make these?
Maybe half the list. The other half uses real fruit, herbs, vinegars (shrubs) and sodas. Filter by "no-special-ingredients" if you want supermarket-only recipes.
